ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-126

An ordinance approving the disposition of a certain parcel of surplus property by the Director of Public Property held by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Proposal No. 2004M-007U-10).

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government owns a certain parcel of property at Woodmont Boulevard, identified as Map 116-03-0, Parcel 18.00;

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government has determined that said certain parcel of property is no longer needed for governmental purposes;

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Property has determined that the property is a non-buildable parcel; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Property is authorized to sell said property to an adjacent property owner subject to the approval to the Metropolitan Council and the Mayor.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan County Council declares the following parcel(s) of land owned in fee by the Metropolitan Government to be surplus:

Woodmont Boulevard
116-03-0 18.00

SECTION 2. The Director of Public Property is hereby authorized and directed to sell said property listed above (a map of which is attached as Exhibit A), in accordance with the Standard Rules and Regulations for the Disposition of Surplus Real Property for the highest and best price.

SECTION 3. The proceeds form the sale of said parcel(s) of property shall be credited to the General Fund pursuant to Metropolitan Code Section 2.24.250(c).
