ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-121


An ordinance amending Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by amending Chapter 17.40 to increase the distances from the subject property for which written notice of proposed amendments to the zoning map are to be sent to property owners. (Proposal No. 2004Z-0001T)


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Section 17.40.720 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws be and the same is hereby amended as follows:

1. By deleting the number "500" and substituting in lieu thereof the number "1,000".

2. By deleting the number "400" and substituting in lieu thereof the number "800".

3. By deleting the number "300" and substituting in lieu thereof the number "600".

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its enactment, and such change shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation, at which time such change shall become effective, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
