An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to accept a donation of one thousand, one hundred fifty-two dollars ($1,152.00) from Centenary United Methodist Church for the use and benefit of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County Tennessee.

WHEREAS, Centenary United Methodist Church, located at 6809 Gower Road, Nashville, TN 37209, desires to donate one thousand, one hundred fifty-two dollars ($1,152.00) for the use and benefit of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County Tennessee; and,

Whereas, pursuant to Metropolitan Charter section 2.01.14, the Metropolitan Council has the authority to accept donations from any source for any purpose related to the powers and duties of the Metropolitan Government.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County Council hereby accepts the donation of one thousand, one hundred fifty-two dollars ($1,152.00).

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept said donation.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson requiring it.
