ORDINANCE NO. BL2003-95
An ordinance amending Article I of Chapter 2.04 of the Metropolitan Code of
Laws to require that notice of the enactment of ordinances amending the
Metropolitan Code be posted by government access television on the government
access channel.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMNET OF NASHVILLE AND
DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Article I of Chapter 2.04 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following new Section 2.04.045:
“2.04.045 Posting of information regarding the enactment of ordinances.
Upon the enactment of all ordinances amending the Metropolitan Code of Laws, except those ordinances amending the official zoning map, government access television shall post information regarding the enactment of such ordinances on the government access channel, including the caption of the ordinance, the sponsor(s), and the date in which the ordinance became effective. Government access television shall post such information after enactment on more than one day.”
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the
welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring
it.
