An ordinance approving a practicum affiliation agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission and the Nashville State Technical Community College to provide clinical experience for students enrolled the Early Childhood Education program at Nashville State Technical Community College.

Whereas, it is to the mutual benefit of Nashville State Technical Community College and the Metropolitan Government to provide clinical experience for students enrolled the Early Childhood Education program at Nashville State Technical Community College; and

Whereas, it is necessary that an agreement be entered into to govern this practicum affiliation;

Whereas, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Metropolitan Government to approve said agreement.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That this practicum affiliation agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission and the Nashville State Technical Community College to provide clinical experience for students enrolled the Early Childhood Education program at Nashville State Technical Community College, for a term of one (1) year for no monetary compensation, is hereby approved.

Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
