ORDINANCE NO. BL99-70
An ordinance accepting the donation of a 1986 GMC pickup truck and a 1985 Ford van from the Drug Court Foundation to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
Whereas, the Drug Court Foundation has offered to donate a 1986 GMC pickup truck title # 12849595TX and a 1985 Ford van title # 39487126TN with a combined value of approximately ten thousand five hundred dollars ($ 10,500.00) to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to be used and maintained by the Sta\te Trial Courts; and
Whereas, it is deemed to be in the best interest of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and its citizens to accept the donation of these two vehicles from the Drug Court Foundation for the use by the State Trial Courts;
Now, therefore, be in enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the donation of the 1986 GMC pickup truck title # 12849595TX and a 1985 Ford van title # 39487126TN from the Drug Court Foundation to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The 1986 GMC pickup truck title # 12849595TX and a 1985 Ford van title # 39487126TN are to be listed as the property of the Metropolitan Government and shall be assigned to the State Trial Courts for its use in support of its activities.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
