ORDINANCE NO. BL2003-1529


An ordinance approving a first amendment to a lease agreement by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, and NNN Parkway Towers, LLC, the successors in interest to Domain Copper Ridge Associates, Ltd., for office space at 404 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee.


Whereas, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has negotiated an amendment to the lease agreement with NNN Parkway Towers, LLC, the successors in interest to Domain Copper Ridge Associates, Ltd., for office space at 404 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee, which amendment includes, but is not limited to, the change in ownership of the subject property a copy of which is attached hereto; and

Whereas, said lease was approved and accepted by the Metropolitan Council by ordinance (Bill No. BL2003-1429); and

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this first amendment to the lease agreement be approved.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the first amendment to the lease agreement entered into between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and NNN Parkway Towers, LLC, the successors in interest to Domain Copper Ridge Associates, Ltd., to lease office space at 404 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee, which amendment includes, but is not limited to, the change in ownership of the subject property, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2: That any future amendments to this agreement shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council receiving twenty-one affirmative votes.

Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
