WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government owns certain real property comprising Alex Green School and identified as Map 49-00-0 Parcel 44.00, as described under Exhibit A and as located on Exhibit B; and

WHEREAS, The State of Tennessee has requested a slope easement of approximately169 square feet of said property be donated by The Metropolitan Government in consideration of the service to Alex Green School; and

WHEREAS, The Director of Public Property Administration has determined that the offer presented by the State of Tennessee to acquire the referenced interest to be fair and reasonable; and

WHEREAS, The Board of Education has approved the conveyance of the referenced interests in Map 49-00-0 Parcel 44.00 to the State of Tennessee; and

WHEREAS, It is in the best interest of The Metropolitan Government to accept the offer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. That the Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized and directed to convey to the State of Tennessee the slope easement in Map 49-00-0 Parcel 44.00, consisting of approximately 169 sq. ft.

SECTION 2. That the certain interest herein described be conveyed to the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation in consideration for the service offered to Alex Green School.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
