ORDINANCE NO. BL2003-1508
An Ordinance amending the Metropolitan Code of Laws to prohibit persons from
inhabiting abandoned motor vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT
OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 11.24.060 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following new subsection C.:
“C. It is unlawful for any person to enter an abandoned motor vehicle for the purpose of sleeping, resting, or inhabiting. For purposes of this subsection, “abandoned motor vehicle” is defined as the term is defined in Section 12.08.210.”
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment,
the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County
requiring it.
