ORDINANCE NO. BL2003-1429
An ordinance approving a lease agreement between The Metropolitan Government
of Nashville and Davidson County and Domain Copper Ridge Associates,
Ltd. for office space at 404 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee
(Proposal No. 2003M-054U-09).
WHEREAS, Domain Copper Ridge Associates, Ltd., owns certain real property known as Parkway Towers, located at 404 James Robertson Parkway; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government has determined that this property is needed to provide space for offices for the Public Defender and related operations; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government and Domain Copper Ridge Associates, Ltd., have negotiated the attached lease agreement attached as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, The Director of Public Property Administration is authorized to lease real property, subject to the approval of The Metropolitan Council and Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. The Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to lease the said property listed above from Domain Copper Ridge Associates, Ltd., in accordance with the terms in the agreement attached as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. The costs of this lease shall be paid out of the Fund 10101, BU 21101000, OA 505230.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
