ORDINANCE NO. BL2003-1307
An ordinance approving a contract for services performed by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the Emergency Communications District for Nashville, Davidson County, for reimbursement of $41,068.00.
Whereas, the Emergency Communications District of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County was created by Ordinance No. 088-609; and
Whereas, the Metropolitan Departments of Information Technology Services, Public Works, and Police and Fire seek to enter into an agreement with the Emergency Communications District whereby enhanced-911 services will be provided for the Metropolitan Government area for the 2002-2003 fiscal year; and
Whereas, under the agreement the Emergency Communications District will reimburse the Metropolitan Government in the amount of $41,068.00 for the provision of certain services to the Emergency Communications District by the Metropolitan Department of Public Works and Department of Information Systems.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
Section 1. That the attached contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the Emergency Communications District of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County in the amount of $41,068.00 for enhanced-911 services for the 2002-2003 fiscal year, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the Metropolitan Government.
Section 2. That this ordinance
shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan
Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
