An ordinance amending Ordinance No. O92-210 by changing the sunset date for the 1992 Procurement Code.

Whereas, the 1992 Procurement Code of the Metropolitan Government as codified in Title 4 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws will sunset on June 30, 2002; and,

Whereas, the Metropolitan Government desires that the 1992 Procurement Code remain in effect until December 31, 2002.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County as follows:

Section 1: That section 3 of ordinance O92-210 is hereby amended by changing the date of June 30, 2002 to December 31, 2002.

Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
