ORDINANCE NO. BL2002-1237
An ordinance creating the positions of Paramedic 3; Emergency Medical Technician 3; and Executive Administrator – Police/Fire for the Police and Fire Departments of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
Whereas, Section 12.10 of the Metropolitan Charter provides that newly created positions within the Metropolitan Government shall be approved by ordinance; and
Whereas, the Metropolitan County Mayor, the Chief of Police, the Fire Chief and the Metropolitan Civil Service Commission deem it necessary to create the positions of Paramedic 3; Emergency Medical Technician 3; and Executive Administrator – Police/Fire.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1: There is hereby
created the following positions:

The above positions
will be in the classified service of the Metropolitan Government.
Section 2: That this Ordinance
shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan
Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
