ORDINANCE NO. BL2002-1191
An ordinance accepting the donation of Fifty Dollars ($50) from St. Henry Catholic Church to the Metropolitan Department of Police for use in the Victim’s Intervention Program.
Whereas, the Metropolitan Police Department operates a Victim's Intervention Program; and,
Whereas, the St. Henry Catholic Church proposed to donate the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50) for the purchase of supplies in the Victim’s Intervention Program; and,
Whereas, the Victim's Intervention Unit has the need for such supplies.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1: That the donation of Fifty Dollars ($50) from St. Henry Catholic Church to the Metropolitan Department of Police, Victim's Intervention Program is accepted.
Section 2. That the sum donated shall be deposited in Metropolitan Police Department account number 31110400.503001 for use in purchasing supplies for the Victim's Intervention Program.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
