ORDINANCE NO. BL2002-1181

An ordinance amending the Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, by accepting the dedication of Recovery Road and associated right-of-way (Proposal No. 2001S-343U-12)


WHEREAS, HCA Southern Hills Medical Center and HCA Realty, Inc., a Tennessee corporation, have built, or have caused to be built, a road to be known as “Recovery Road” to be dedicated with final plat 2001S-343U-12, Wallace Road Subdivision; and,

WHEREAS, final plat 2001S-343U-12, Wallace Road Subdivision, has been filed with the Metropolitan Planning Commission; and,

WHEREAS, said road has been built in conformity with Metropolitan Government standards and acceptable engineering standards of practice; and,

WHEREAS, final plat 2001S-343U-12 evidences the intent of the owner to dedicate said road and certain associated right-of-way permanently to the Metropolitan Government; and,

WHEREAS, acceptance of said road and associated right-of-way is in the best interests of the Metropolitan Government;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

Section 1. The Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, as adopted by Ordinance BL2001-916, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:

“That there is hereby accepted for dedication as a public street, Recovery Road, and the dedication of certain right-of-way associated therewith, as more particularly depicted on the attached sketch.”

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government requiring it.
