ORDINANCE NO. BL2002-1124
An ordinance abandoning the sewer line and easement on Map 19-13, Parcel 103, of Project No. 98-SL-132, East Cedar Street 14" Force Main Abandonment and Relocation. (Proposal No. 2002M-049G-04) District 10.
WHEREAS, Mr. Roy Flowers is the owner of real property encumbered by sewer lines and sewer easements; and,
WHEREAS, the sewer line and easement to be abandoned and relocated serves no other properties; and,
WHEREAS, the sewer line and sewer easement are being used by the Department of Water and Sewerage Services, more particularly described on the plans for Project No. 98-SL-132, East Cedar Street 14" Force Main Abandonment and Relocation, on record in the office of the Director of Water and Sewerage Services, said plans are made a part hereof as though copied herein; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Water and Sewerage Services has no need for the said sewer line and easement to be abandoned and is to be relocated; and,
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission of Nashville and Davidson County has already approved the abandonment and relocation of said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1: That the sewer line and the sewer easement shown on Map 19-13, Parcel 103, of Project No. 98-SL-132, East Cedar Street 14" Force Main Abandonment and Relocation are declared abandoned, and the below signed are hereby authorized to execute the appropriate instruments to carry out such abandonment and relocation.
SECTION 2: Any further amendments to this legislation may be processed by resolution.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance takes effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
