An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with C.K. Development for the construction of Project No. 01-SL-131, Copperstone Subdivision, Section 1.

WHEREAS, C.K. Development has expressed a desire to provide public sewer service in Williamson County, Tennessee, to a development known as Copperstone Subdivision, Section 1; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, has built the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer Project No. 97-SG-84 anticipating participation from developers; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed to benefit both parties and the general community, and C.K. Development agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $74,000.00; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to execute a participation agreement, Exhibit 1, with C.K. Development to provide public sewer services in Williamson County, Tennessee, known as Copperstone Subdivision, Section 1, Project No. 01-SL-131.

SECTION 2. That C.K. Development agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $74,000.00, for a total of 37 single-family home connections.

SECTION 3. That the $74,000.00 is deposited as a contribution-in-aid of construction in Water and Sewer Extension and Replacement Fund No. 47335.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
