ORDINANCE NO. BL2002-1031

An ordinance accepting the donation of a 1983 Mack Box Van Truck to the Metropolitan Government for the benefit of the Drug Court program from RTR Transportation Company.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government State Trial Courts operate a Drug Court program; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government wishes to accept a donation of a 1983 Mack Box Van Truck from Jack Norman, owner of RTR Transportation, a locally based trucking company, for use by the Drug Court; and

WHEREAS, the Drug Court program has the need for this equipment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That the donation of a 1983 Mack Box Van Truck to the Metropolitan Government State Trial Courts, Drug Court program, is accepted.

SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
