ORDINANCE NO. BL2001-875

An ordinance authorizing the placement of automatic teller machines (ATM's) in the Criminal Justice Center, Hermitage Police Precinct and South Police Precinct (Proposal No. 2001M-113U-09).

WHEREAS, the MPD Employees Credit Union has offered to install automatic teller machines (ATM's) in the Criminal Justice Center, Hermitage Police Precinct and South Police Precinct; and

WHEREAS, the MPD Employees Credit Union will pay for all costs associated with the placement, operation and maintenance of these ATM's; and

WHEREAS, the location of these ATM's will serve the financial needs of the members of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department who are members of the MPD Employees Credit Union, as well as the general public.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:


SECTION 1. That the MPD Employees Credit Union is authorized to place automatic teller machines (ATM's) in the Criminal Justice Center, Hermitage Police Precinct and South Police Precinct.

SECTION 2. A copy of the lease between the Metropolitan Government and the MPD Employees Credit Union is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
