ORDINANCE NO. BL2001-838

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to accept from Jack C. Stroud and Gail A. Stroud $2,500.00 to fund the installation of a water line to serve 109 Barton Lane (Project No. 01-WG-114).

WHEREAS, the Strouds requested that a public water service be provided to their property at 109 Barton Lane; and

WHEREAS, Metro Water Services has determined that it is in the best interest of both parties to install a public water line to serve the property; and

WHEREAS, Metro's estimate for the cost of the water line is $7,500.00.

WHEREAS, This work is identified in METRO'S CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET as Project No. 96WG0002.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept from Jack C. Stroud and Gail A. Stroud $2,500.00 as a contribution toward the funding of the construction of a public water line from Pennington Bend Road to 109 Barton Lane. Metro Water Services will have received the monies before initiation of the construction.

SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
