An ordinance approving a grant agreement by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Children's Services, and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Davidson County Juvenile Court, for the provision of child and family intervention services through the Davidson County Juvenile Court's Child and Family Intervention grant, in an amount not to exceed $641,674.00.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That a grant agreement by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Children's Services and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Davidson County Juvenile Court, for the provision of child and family intervention services through the Davidson County Juvenile Court's Child and Family Intervention grant, in an amount not to exceed $641,674.00, and for a term commencing on July 1, 2001, and extending through June 30, 2002, which contract is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute said contract.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
