An ordinance accepting the donation of six thousand two hundred dollars ($6,200) to the Metropolitan Police Department Tactical Investigation Division from Gary Katz.

Whereas, the Metropolitan Police Department operates a Tactical Investigation Division; and

Whereas, the Metropolitan Police Department wishes to accept a donation of six thousand two hundred dollars ($6,200) from Gary Katz for use by the Tactical Investigation Division for the purchase of equipment; and

Whereas, the Police Tactical Investigation Division has the need for equipment.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the donation of six thousand two hundred dollars ($6,200) by Gary Katz to the Metropolitan Government, Department of Police, Tactical Investigation Division, is accepted.

Section 2. That the six thousand two hundred dollar ($6,200) donation shall be deposited in Metropolitan Police Department account number 31110001.409300 for use in purchasing equipment for the Tactical Investigation Division.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
