ORDINANCE NO. BL2001-590
An ordinance accepting the donation of twenty (20) portable radios to the Metropolitan Police Department Information Services Division from Motorola Communications and Electronics.
Whereas, the Metropolitan Police Department operates an Information Services Division; and
Whereas, the Metropolitan Police Department wishes to accept a donation of twenty (20) LTS2000 800MHZ portable radios from Motorola Communications and Electronics for use by the Information Services Division; and
Whereas, the Police Information Services Division has the need for equipment.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. That the donation of twenty (20) LTS2000 800MHZ portable radios to the
Metropolitan Government, Department of Police, Information Services Division, is accepted.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the
welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
