ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-511

An ordinance abandoning the sewer line and easement and dedicating a relocated sewer line and easement on Map 132-4, Parcel 2, (Proposal No. 2000M-096U-11) of Project No. 99-SL-217, Dekor/H. G. Hill Property Sewer Line and Easement Abandonment.

WHEREAS, H. G. Hill Realty Company is the owner of real property encumbered by a sewer line and sewer easement; and

WHEREAS, a new sewer line has been installed and is being dedicated which adequately serves the property; and

WHEREAS, the sewer line and sewer easement are no longer being used by the Department of Water and Sewerage Services, more particularly described on the plans for Project No. 99-SL-217, Dekor/H. G. Hill Property Sewer Line and Easement Abandonment, on record in the office of the Director of Water and Sewerage Services, said plans are made a part hereof as though copied herein; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Water and Sewerage Services has no need for the said easement; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission of Nashville and Davidson County has already approved the abandonment of said easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the sewer line and sewer easement shown on Map 132-4, Parcel 2, and shown on Project No. 99-SL-217, are declared abandoned, and the below signed are hereby authorized to execute the appropriate instruments to carry out such abandonment.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
