ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-502

An ordinance accepting donations to the Metropolitan Police Department Property Crime Section in the total amount of one thousand sixty one dollars ($1,061.00) from the Target Department Stores and appropriating this amount to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Police, to purchase equipment for the Police Property Crimes Section.

Whereas, the Metropolitan Police Department operates a Property Crimes Section; and,

Whereas, the Metropolitan Police Department wishes to accept a donation of received in an amount totaling one thousand sixty one dollars ($1,061.00) from the Target Department Stores to the Police Property Crimes Section to purchase equipment for the Police Property Crimes Section; and,

Whereas, the Police Property Crimes Section has the need for equipment.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Metropolitan Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the donation in an amount totaling one thousand sixty one dollars ($1,061.00) to the Metropolitan Government, Department of Police, Property Crimes Section , is accepted.

Section 2 That the sum donated shall be deposited in Metropolitan Police Department account number 31140104 for use in purchasing equipment for the Police Property Crimes Section.

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
