ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-491

An ordinance authorizing the Whispering Hills Church of the Nazarene, hereinafter known as "WHISPERING HILLS CHURCH" to participate with the Metropolitan Government, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, hereinafter known as "METRO", for the construction of Sewer Project No. 97-SG-84.

WHEREAS, WHISPERING HILLS CHURCH has expressed a desire to provide improved public sewer service in northeast Williamson County, TN, hereinafter known as Owl Creek Trunk Sewer; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to construct the sewer service, and WHISPERING HILLS CHURCH has paid their proportionate share of the total cost in the amount of $16,000.00; and

WHEREAS, this work is identified in METRO’s Capital Improvements Budget as I.D. No. 97SG0084.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That METRO is hereby authorized to enter into a participation agreement (Exhibit 1) with WHISPERING HILLS CHURCH to accept the amount of $16,000.00 to aid in the construction of sewer service, designated as Project No. 97-SG-84.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

I move to amend Ordinance No. BL2000-491 as follows:

(1) In the third WHEREAS section, replace I.D. No. 97SG0084 with I.D. No 96SG001.
