ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-428

An odinance accepting the donation of a directional road sign located on McGavock Pike from the Opry Mills development to the Department of Public Works.

WHEREAS, the Opry Mills development has constructed and erected at its own cost a directional sign on McGavock Pike between Briley Parkway and Music Valley Drive which provides motorists traveling in west bound lanes directions to destinations in the Pennington Bend area, including to Music Valley Drive and Opry Mills Drive; and

WHEREAS, the Opry Mills development now desires to donate such sign to the Metropolitan Government.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, hereby accepts the donation from the Opry Mills development of a directional road sign located on McGavock Pike.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
