ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-423

An ordinance abandoning a portion of a 20 foot public utility and drainage easement located at the eastern terminus of Redmon Street, east of 37th Avenue North, (Proposal No. 2000M-072U-07), all of which is more particularly described herein.

WHEREAS: It is the desire of all the abutting property owners that said abandonment be accomplished; and,

WHEREAS: There is no future need for said portion of said public utility and drainage easement for Metropolitan government purposes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. A certain portion of a 20 foot public utility and drainage easement located at the eastern  terminus of Redmon Street, east of 37th Avenue North, classified within the IWD District (.40 acres), all of which is more particularly described by lines, words and figures on the sketch which is attached to and made a part of this ordinance as though copied herein, is hereby abandoned.

SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this ordinance take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
