ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-288

An ordinance approving the creation of a permanent easement on certain property owned by the Metropolitan Government (Tax Map 49, Parcel 44) and used for Alex Green Elementary School.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, owns certain property in Davidson County located on Lloyd Road (Tax Map 49, Parcel 44) and used for Alex Green Elementary School; and

WHEREAS, an adjacent property owner has requested the creation of a permanent easement (as depicted on the attached Exhibit A) on a portion of said property for the purpose of extending a public sewer line; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Board of Public Education has determined that the creation of this easement would not adversely affect the usage of said property and has approved said request.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. The creation of a permanent easement (as depicted on the attached Exhibit A) on Tax Map 49, Parcel 44, is hereby approved.

SECTION 2. The Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents pertaining thereto.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
