ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-277

An ordinance abandoning public utility easements on the site of Blair School of Music, Vanderbilt Universtity, (Proposal No. 2000M-025U-10), all of which is more particularly described herein.

WHEREAS: It is the desire of the property owner that said abandonment be accomplished; and,

WHEREAS: There is no future need for said public utility easements for Metropolitan Government purposes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. A 50’ wide public utility easement and at 12.33’ wide public utility easement on the site of the Blair School of Music, located at 2400 Blakemore Avenue on the Vanderbilt University campus, all of which is more particularly described by lines, words and figures on the sketch which is attached to and made a part of this ordinance as though copied herein, is hereby abandoned.

SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this ordinance take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
