ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-242
An ordinance amending Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code, Zoning Regulations, by amending Section 17.08.030 by providing that outpatient clinics be permitted with conditions in the IWD and IR Zone Districts and amending Section 17.16.060 by establishing conditions for such use, all of which is more particularly described herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. That the codification of Title 17 of the Code of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Zoning Regulations, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
By amending Section 17.08.030 D. by amending the District Land Use Table under the Medical Uses: Outpatient clinics by adding "PC" in the IWD and IR Industrial Zone Districts; and
By amending Section 17.16.060 Medical uses. by adding the following new provisions:
"C. Outpatient Clinic. Outpatient clinics shall be limited to clinics with no more than 6,000 square feet, with operating hours being limited to twelve (12) hours per day, with use being limited to occupational health, which is to be defined as those clinics that provide outpatient services limited to the treatment of minor work-related injuries, physical examinations and drug and alcohol screenings"
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its passage and such change be published in a newspaper of general circulation, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO
ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-242
Mr. President:
I move to amend Ordinance No. BL2000-242 by amending Section 1 thereof by deleting in its entirety from Section 17.16.060 C. the following phrase wherein it appears:
"with operating hours being limited to twelve (12) hours per day,"
