ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-207

An ordinance authorizing Hugh Cates, d.b.a. Pinkerton Estates to participate with the Metropolitan Government, Department of Water and Sewerage Services to provide Pinkerton Estates sewerage service, by the construction of the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer, Project No. 97-SG-84.

WHEREAS, Hugh Cates has expressed a desire to provide public sewer system improvements to certain property in Williamson County, TN known as Pinkerton Estates and served by the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer, Project No. 97-SG-84; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to extend sewerage services to lots in the Pinkerton Estates, and Hugh Cates is agreeable to pay an amount not to exceed $12,000.00 to have such service available; and

WHEREAS, this work is identified in Metro’s Capital Improvements Budget as Project No. 96-SG-0002.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept from Hugh Cates an amount not to exceed $12,000.00 to upgrade Owl Creek Trunk Sewer, Project No. 97-SG-84.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
