ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-182

An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of a donation in the amount of $30,000 from Priest Lake Limited Partnership as a contribution towards improvements at the intersection of Dodson Chapel Road and Central Pike.

Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 098-1072, the Metropolitan Council approved the application of the Planned Unit Development District regulations to certain parcels of property (the "Project") in the vicinity of Bell Road and Dodson Chapel Road; and

Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. BL99-76, the Metropolitan Council conditionally approved the acceptance by the Metropolitan Government of certain interests in land within the Project for use as park and greenway space; and

Whereas, final approval of the Project requires the acceptance by the Metropolitan Government of a donation in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) from Priest Lake Limited Partnership as a contribution towards improvements at the intersection of Dodson Chapel Road and Central Pike necessitated in part by the Project.

Whereas, the citizens of Nashville and Davidson County will benefit by accepting the proposed donation.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. The proposed donation in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) from Priest Lake Limited Partnership as a contribution towards improvements at the intersection of Dodson Chapel Road and Central Pike is hereby accepted.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
