ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-180

An ordinance authorizing Saeed Sassan to participate with the Metropolitan Government, Department of Water and Sewerage Services to provide the Mt. View Ridge Phase II Subdivision Sewerage Service, by the construction of the Towne Village of the Country Pumping Station Upgrade and, Project No. 97-SL-247.

WHEREAS, Saeed Sassan has expressed a desire to provide public sewer system improvements to certain property in Davidson County, TN known as Mt. View Ridge Phase II Subdivision and served by the Towne Village of the Country Pumping Station Upgrade, Project No. 95-SG-114; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to extend sewerage services to lots in the Mt. View Ridge Phase II Subdivision, and Saeed Sassan is agreeable to pay an amount not to exceed $14,000.00 to have such service available; and

WHEREAS, this work is identified in Metro’s Capital Improvements Budget as Project No. 96-SG-0002.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept from Saeed Sassan an amount not to exceed $14,000.00 to upgrade the Towne Village of the Country Pumping Station, Project No. 97-SL-247.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
