ORDINANCE NO. BL2000-147

An ordinance authorizing Al Davis, d.b.a., McColl Manor Subdivision, to pay the Metropolitan Government, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, $6,000 for participation in the construction costs of the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer, Project No. 97-SG-84.

WHEREAS, Al Davis has expressed a desire to extend a public sewer system to serve McColl Manor Subdivision, Project No. 99-SL-127 a project served by the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to accept participation to make sewerage service available to 3 units in the Owl Creek Basin of Williamson County; and

WHEREAS, this project is identified in Metro’s 1999-2000 Capital Improvements Budget as Project No. 96-SG-0001.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept from Al Davis $6,000.00 for participation in the costs of the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer designated as Project No. 97-SG-84 and more specifically defined in the Participation Agreement, a copy attached.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
