SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE NO. S099-1562

A substitute ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Mayor to enter into an interlocal agreement with Williamson County granting Metro access to the county’s graphical information system.

Whereas, the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services has a need to access the Williamson County GIS database to plan for sewer expansion in its service area.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Metropolitan Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached Interlocal Agreement between the Metropolitan Government and Williamson County, which permits the respective parties to access and use each other’s graphical information system database for obtaining mapping information.

Section 2. That amendments to this Interlocal Agreement can be approved in the future by a resolution of the Metropolitan Council.

Section 3. That this substitute ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
