ORDINANCE NO. O99-1785

An ordinance authorizing Copperstone Development, LLC to participate with the Metropolitan Government, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, for the construction of Project Nos. 98-SL-192 & 97-SG-84, Edmonson Branch Trunk Sewer & Owl Creek Trunk Sewer.

WHEREAS, Copperstone has expressed a desire to provide improved public sewer service in Williamson County, known as the Edmonson Branch Trunk Sewer and the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to construct the sewer service improvements, and Copperstone is agreeable to paying a portion of the construction costs in an amount not to exceed $523,200; and

WHEREAS, this work is identified in METRO’S CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET as Project Nos. 96-SG-0001 and 97-SG-0084.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept from Copperstone an amount not to exceed $523,200 as participation in the Edmonson Branch Trunk Sewer and Owl Creek Trunk Sewer projects, designated as Project Nos. 98-SL-192 & 97-SG-84.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
