ORDINANCE NO. O99-1683
An ordinance authorizing the assignment of a lease agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Ewing Lane Partnership d/b/a North Pointe Plaza to Northpoint Retail, L.L.C. (Tax Map 60-8, Part of Parcel 71 - property on Broadmoor Drive).
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, owns certain property identified as Parcel 71 on Tax Map 60-8; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. O90-1251 approved the lease of a certain portion of said property to Ewing Lane Partnership, d/b/a/ North Pointe Plaza; and
WHEREAS, Ewing Lane Partnership, d/b/a North Pointe Plaza desires to assign said lease agreement to Northpoint Retail, L.L.C.; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, is in agreement with this assignment (attached as Exhibit A).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. The assignment of the lease between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Ewing Lane partnership, d/b/a North Pointe Plaza to Northpoint Retail, L.L.C. is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Director of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents to effect said assignment (attached as Exhibit A).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
