ORDINANCE NO. O99-1597

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with CK Development, LLC for the construction of Project No. 98-SL-192, Brookfield Subdivision offsite sewer on Waller Road.

WHEREAS, CK Development and Metro have expressed a desire to provide improved public sewer service in northeast Williamson County, TN, known as Brookfield Subdivision Offsite Sewer on Waller Road; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to construct the sewer facility improvements, and Metro agrees to participate in an amount not to exceed the lessor of $320,000, or 50% of the actual cost; and

WHEREAS, it is estimated that the total construction cost for the facility improvements will be $720,000.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to participate with CK Development, in the lessor amount of $320,000, or 50% to aid in the construction of the sewer improvements designated as Project No. 98-SL-192 and the Director of Metro Water Services is authorized to execute the agreement, a copy attached.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
