ORDINANCE NO. O99-1569

An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of a permanent easement to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, for the use and benefit of the Greenway Commission of the Metropolitan Government in conjunction with the Shelby Bottoms Greenway.

WHEREAS, the owner of Parcel 28 on Tax Map 84 has agreed to donate a permanent easement to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, for the benefit and use of the Greenway Commission in conjunction with Shelby Bottoms; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Greenway Commission and the Director of Public Property, have all approved the acceptance of said easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. The Director of Public Property is hereby authorized to accept and record an easement from the owner of the aforementioned property (Tax Map 84, Parcel 28 - on Shadow Lane) and shown on the map identified as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto and made part of this ordinance.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
