ORDINANCE NO. O99-1546

An ordinance to amend the Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by accepting the dedication of a portion of Briley Park Boulevard South, between Brick Church Lane and Brick Church Pike, located on Tax Map 50, (Proposal No. 99M-023U), all of which is more particularly described herein.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County desires to accept the dedication of an approximately 1,500-foot length of said road as public right-of-way; and

WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said portion of Briley Park Boulevard South, between Brick Church Lane and Brick Church Pike be accepted as public right-of-way.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. That the Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, be and is hereby amended, as follows:

That the portion of Briley Park Boulevard South, 60 feet in width, extending southerly a distance of
approximately 1,500 feet from the southerly right-of-way of Brick Church Lane and terminating at Brick
Church Pike, all of which is more particularly described by lines, words and figures on the sketch which
is hereto attached as Exhibit A and made part of this ordinance as though copied herein, is hereby
accepted as public right-of-way.

SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Director of the Department of Public Works be and is hereby authorized and directed, upon the enactment and approval of this ordinance, to cause said change to be made on said Map as set out in Section 1 of this ordinance, and to make notation thereon of reference to the date of passage and approval of this amendatory ordinance.

SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this ordinance take effect immediately after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
