ORDINANCE NO. O99-1533

An ordinance authorizing the Development Ventures, LLC to participate with the Metropolitan Government, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, for the construction of Project No. 98-SG-181.

WHEREAS, Development Ventures, LLC has expressed a desire to provide public sewer system improvements to certain property in Wilson County, TN known as Royal Oaks-Section 4 (Proj. No. 98-SL-193); and

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to upgrade the Royal Oaks Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Development Ventures, LLC is agreeable to paying its proportionate share of the total cost in an amount not to exceed $38,000.00 (19 Lots @ $2,000.00 each); and

WHEREAS, this work is identified in Metro’s Capital Improvements Budget as Project No. 96-SG-0002.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept from Development Ventures, LLC an amount not to exceed $38,000.00 to aid in the upgrade of Royal Oaks Wastewater Treatment Plant designated as Project No. 98-SG-181.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
