ORDINANCE NO. O99-1517

An ordinance to amend the Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by accepting the dedication of a portion of Camilla Caldwell Lane located on Tax Map 80, Parcel 35, all of which is more particularly described herein.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is the owner of the property abutting either side of said Camilla Caldwell Lane (a private road) located on Tax Map 80, Parcel 35; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County desires to dedicate an approximately 900-foot length of said lane as public right-of-way; and

WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said portion of Camilla Caldwell Lane be dedicated as public right-of-way.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. That the Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County be and is hereby amended as follows:

That the portion of Camilla Caldwell Lane, sixty feet in width, extending southerly a distance of approximately 900 feet from the southerly right-of-way of County Hospital Road, all of which is more particularly described by lines, words and figures on the plan which is hereto attached as Exhibit A and made part of this ordinance as though copied herein, is hereby accepted as public right-of-way .

SECTION 2. The Director of Public Works be and is hereby authorized and directed, upon the enactment and approval of this ordinance, to cause said change to be made on said Map as set our in Section 1 of this ordinance, and to make notation thereon of reference to the date of passage and approval of this amendatory ordinance.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
