ORDINANCE NO. O98-1453

An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of a donation of certain property to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, for the use and benefit of the Greenway Commission of the Metropolitan Government (Tax Map 74-13, Parcel 7 - Stones River Road).

WHEREAS, the owner of Parcel 7 on Tax Map 74-13 desires to donate this .44 acres, more or less, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, for the benefit and use of the Greenways Commission; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Greenways Commission and the Director of Public Property, have approved the acceptance of said property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. The Director of Public Property is hereby authorized to accept title, from the owner of the aforementioned property (Tax Map 74-13, Parcel 7 - Stones River Road) and shown on the map identified as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto and made part of this ordinance.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
