ORDINANCE NO. O98-1439

An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of $8,000.00 from Lab Land and Cattle, Inc., and the easements necessary to provide potential interior lining and protection for a portion of sewer, Metro Project No. 98-SX-173.

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to provide potential interior lining and protection for a portion of the public sewer along 17th Avenue South, and Lab Land and Cattle, Inc. has agreed to pay a portion of the total cost in an amount not to exceed $8,000.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to receive from Lab Land and Cattle, Inc., funding in the amount of $8,000.00 to gunite line the brick sewer along 17th Avenue South, designated as Project No. 98-SX-173. The participation is in accordance with the attached agreement between the Department of Water and Sewerage Services and Lab Land and Cattle, Inc., copy attached as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2: That the Metropolitan Government is authorized to accept the easements needed for the sewer lining and protection.

SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
