ORDINANCE NO. O98-1395

An ordinance accepting the donation of twenty-one computers from Saint Thomas Health Services for the Police Department for the use of the Police School Services Division.

WHEREAS, Saint Thomas Health Services has offered to donate twenty-one Compaq Prolinea Model 450 computers, complete with keyboard and mice, to the Metropolitan Government for the use of the Police Department’s Police School Services Division; and,

WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and its citizens to accept the donation from Saint Thomas Health Services since it will assist the Police School Services Division in fulfilling its duties;

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, that:

Section 1. The donation of twenty-one Compaq Prolinea Model 450 computers, complete with keyboard and mice, for use of the Police Department’s Police School Services Division is hereby accepted from Saint Thomas Health Services.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
