ENACTED 11/17/1998

An ordinance approving the transfer of certain properties held by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency for use for the Stadium Project (Map 93-2, Parcels 67, 68, 86, 87, 103, 104, 105 and 112).

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County owns certain parcels of property located within the Stadium Site necessary for the completion of construction of the Stadium Site; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council, Ordinance O96-164 authorized the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency to acquire all property necessary for the Stadium Project; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency has been authorized to construct all aspects of the Stadium; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency will convey the Stadium Property to the Sports Authority of the Metropolitan Government upon completion of the Project; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Property Administration is authorized to transfer property, subject to the approval of the Metropolitan County Council and Mayor.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. The Metropolitan County Council declares that the following parcels of land held by the Metropolitan Government are necessary for the construction of the Stadium Project

Map 93-2, Parcels 67, 68, 86, 87, 103, 104, 105 and 112

SECTION 2. The Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to transfer said property listed above to the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency and is authorized to execute the necessary documents pertaining thereto.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.

AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

ORDINANCE NO. O98-1390

Mr. President:

I move to amend Ordinance No. O98-1390 by deleting the listing of parcels as they appear in the Caption and in Section 1 thereof to properly correct the parcel listing reflecting the changing in mapping, by inserting the following new listing:

"Map 93-2, Parcels 67, 68, 86, 87, 103, 105 and 112, and
Map 93-3, Part of Parcel 66 (formerly Map 93-2, Parcel 104)"
