ORDINANCE NO. O98-1132

AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING DRAINAGE AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS IN STONE CREEK PARK, SECTION 1-C, LOT NOS. 141, 142 AND 143, SAID PROPERTY BEING OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 9700, PAGE 469, REGISTER'S OFFICE FOR DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE, ALL OF WHICH IS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN BY EXHIBITS ATTACHED HERETO.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County owns certain drainage easements and public utility easements in certain parcels of property in Stone Creek Park; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has determined that these property interests are no longer needed for governmental purposes.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the property maps for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County be amended to reflect the abandonment of the real property rights of the Metropolitan Government in the hereinreferenced drainage easements and public utility easements.

SECTION 2: Be it further enacted that the Director of the Department of Public Property be and is hereby authorized and directed, upon the enactment and approval of this Ordinance, to cause said change to be made.

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
