ORDINANCE NO. O98-1122

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF $5,000.00 FROM THE M. G. FOSTER ESTATE, AND THE EASEMENTS NECESSARY TO RELOCATE THE SEWER LINE AT 4111 MURPHY ROAD, METRO PROJECT NO. 97-SG-171.

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to relocate the existing 15" sewer line, and the M. G. Foster Life Estate is agreeable to pay the total cost of $5,000.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to receive from M. G. Foster, et ux. and M. G. Foster Life Estate, funding in the amount of $5,000.00 to relocate the 15" sewer designated as Project No. 97-SG-171. The participation is in accordance with the attached agreement between the Department of Water and Sewerage Services and M. G. Foster, et ux. and M. G. Foster Life Estate, copy attached as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2: That the Metropolitan Government is authorized to accept the easements needed for the sewer relocation.

SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
