ORDINANCE NO. O98-1121

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT TO ACCEPT A DONATION OF $40,000 FROM ATLANTIC HOMESTEAD VILLAGE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, A DELEWARE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, TO AID CONSTRUCTION OF INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE WEST END AVENUE AREA, PROJECT NO. 97P-041U.

WHEREAS, Atlantic Homestead Village Limited Partnership, a Delaware limited partnership, has offered to donate $40,000 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County as an aid to construction to infrastructure improvements in the West End Avenue area, Project No. 97P-041U; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Metropolitan Government to accept such donation for the purposes herein specified.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Department of Public Works is authorized to accept a donation in the amount of $40,000 from Atlantic Homestead Village Limited Partnership, as an aid to the construction to infrastructure improvements in the West End Avenue area, Project No. 97P-041U.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
